Privacy policy

Syncham OÜ (register 16985094, Tallinn, Estonia) operates Hephira, a calorie tracker accessible via WhatsApp.

Data collected: WhatsApp number, meal logs (text, photos, voice messages), nutritional analysis results, weight tracking, and usage preferences.

Purpose: to provide the nutritional tracking service.

Retention: Text logs and weight tracking are kept for as long as your account remains active. When you delete your account, all your data is erased within 30 days.

Technical subprocessors (GDPR art. 28) — To provide the service, certain data is transmitted to providers located in the European Union or offering equivalent safeguards (standard contractual clauses):

• Meta Platforms Ireland — WhatsApp messages (number, content, photos, voice messages)
• OpenAI (United States) — nutritional analysis of meals (text and photos)
• Stripe Payments Europe — payment processing (email, card data)
• Sentry (Functional Software Inc., EU region — Germany) — detection of technical errors and performance metrics; session recordings are anonymized (text and images masked)
• Hostinger — server hosting (United States)
• Cloudflare R2 (European Union) — off-site storage of encrypted backups

Your rights (GDPR): you may request a full export or the deletion of your data at any time via Settings → My data, or by writing to contact@syncham.com. That address also covers any request to exercise your rights if you no longer have access to WhatsApp.
